Overview of Screen Research screen products

Screen Research screens all come with our famous ClearPix2 acoustically transparent fabric. The screens come in seven main variations, three aspect ratios and many sizes. We'll explain all of these for you here. |
A) Main variations:
- Fixed frame screens
- Fixed frame screens with X-Mask motorised masking, allowing you to adjust the aspect ratio
- Curved fixed frame screens
- Curved fixed frame screens with X-Mask motorised masking
- Drop-down screens, either as In Ceiling or as On Ceiling
- Drop-down screens (IC/OC) with masking
- Drop-down screens with LeWing loudspeaker array, either as In Ceiling or as On Ceiling
- 16x9 or 1.78:1, this is simular to modern widescreen TV's
- 4x3 or 1.33:1, this is similar to traditional TV's
- 2.35:1 or 'Scope' (from Cinemascope), the most common format for cinematography
We measure our screens over the image width (horizontal), not including the black frame. We indicate the size in inches (with metric in brackets). There is bound to be a size that fits your room.

There are many(!) variations possible with these different screens, ratio options and sizes. Your AV installer will help you to select the right screen type and size for your home theatre.
